"Serena is by far the best teacher I have ever had the pleasure of learning from. When I first signed up, I had no idea what wonderful studio I was walking into. She left me speechless, numerous times, with the amount of knowledge, experience, kindness, and professionalism she presented in each lesson. To summarize the exceptional work of Serena I'll highlight, what I believe, are the two most outstanding reasons to work with her. Firstly, Serena is an incredibly certified, educated, and wise teacher. The amount of terminology I absorbed, the number of physical exercises I endured to perfect my technique, and the countless hours I spent using IPA to learn foreign language pieces, are just a few of the most beneficial resources Serena offers. Serena was also the first person to open up an entirely new world of singing to me. By using scientific research, textbooks, and more, she introduced me to the anatomy of singing and how to use your body correctly while singing. This was eye opening for me and has continued to fuel my passion for singing ever since. Secondly, Serena never failed to provide constant support, encouragement, and safety in her studio. I never once felt scared to ask a question, to fail, or try something new. Serena truly helped me, not only build my stage presence, but also my confidence as a person. Serena is so talented in the fact that she can adapt to any level of singing, and to any learner. She would change how she taught me to help teach me in the most effective way possible. Whether it be visually on a white board, auditorily through sound imitation, or physically through utilizing new exercises and tools. It breaks my heart to leave her studio as I begin my new chapter, but I can trust that if anyone could've prepared me best for college, it was Serena. I truly can't praise or recommend a person more than her, so if you're considering-let this be your reason to do it. Truly, she will change your life."
